The Bookery is a private lending library located in South Minneapolis and home to a collection of 1100+ books and materials used by homeschooling families. While the collection is being built against the background of a Charlotte Mason philosophy of education, The Bookery hopes to provide resources to families from a variety of home education methods, as well as those just looking for a place to find good, wholesome reading for their children. 

At The Bookery, the goal is to provide well-written, high quality reading materials for the community. We want families to have access to what is good, beautiful,and true, but, sadly, many of these books are disappearing from our public library shelves and bookstores. Even books that appear on the majority of homeschool reading lists can no longer be found. Our solution? Find the books, buy the books, and keep them in circulation!
